New Owner Essentials
If you’re a persian or cat owner, whether you’re a new owner or have had a cat for a while, this is our list of kitty essentials in the granite city household. Over the years we’ve tried and tested products, and these products are all amazing and will hopefully make your life as a cat owner a lot easier.

*Tip*: do not give your cat any water you wouldn’t drink yourself. Well water is great, city water is not so great. Make sure it’s filtered or cleaned in some way, because most city water has harsh minerals and chlorine that are also, not so great.

5. The litter you’ve probably heard all about is worth the hype: pretty litter. It keeps way longer than most litter, and is the most smell absorbing litter we’ve tried yet. And trust me, we’ve tried them all. You can even set up a monthly subscription to be delivered to your house so you never have to worry about running out and carrying litter across town. BONUS: It monitors your cat's health and will give you warning signs if anything is off.

6. These toys are without fail our cat’s favorite toys. From kittens to adults, they can never resist picking them up with their paws and throwing them in the air, or carrying them around the house in their mouths. 10. This is one of my favorite litter boxes, which allows for ultimate privacy for both you and your cat. 11. Because of their flat faces, this can make for messy eating (depending on how good they are at cleaning up after themselves). 12. One thing about kitties, they love a good nap spot. For some reason, they seem to love snuggling up in nests and nooks, which is both adorable and creates a perfect photo op. https://etsy.me/3AuHpBw
13. From picking up your babies from the airport to bringing them to the vet or groomer, you’re going to need a good pet carrier. Our favorites are from a family-run business which is huge in the cat show exhibitor world. 15. Last one is a little splurge, but a must have in our household for grooming. The dyson hair dryer. You can use it for both your cat and you (bonus!).
